Whoever put together Trump’s graphic should be fired. Why? Because someone is interpreting a red star as a star of David? I've seen stars like that in all kinds of advertising. I really doubt there was any anti-anything implied except anti-Hillary. In my humble opinion this is much PC ado about nothing.

Whoever put together Trump’s graphic should be fired. That's no Star of David. It's red, solid, and tilted. As others have pointed out, it is a sheriff's star shape, not a Star of David.
According to the dictionary, a Star of David is "a six-pointed figure consisting of two interlaced equilateral triangles, used as a Jewish and Israeli symbol." This is a Star of David:
