A Russian ship again made a close approach to a U.S. Navy ship in the Mediterranean Sea in an encounter that American officials are labeling "unprofessional."
On Thursday, the Russian frigate Yaroslav Mudryy came within 150 yards of the guided missile cruiser USS San Jacinto -- two weeks after the same Russian ship came within 315 yards of the American destroyer USS Gravely.

What does “unprofessional” even mean???
See pic of hildabeast for reference.
It ain’t close til they scratch the paint.
Putin is just testing ‘no balls’ Barky...still the same Putin says...
weren’t there a few side swipes between russian ship and the US navy in the Baltic during the cold war?
The Gravely overtook and crossed the bow of the Russian ship.
So the woman driver of the Gravely files a complaint?
In the Black Sea. The Navy sent warships into Russian territorial waters to assert “the right of innocent passage”, an arcane provision of international law that allows a foreign ship, even a warship, to pass through a country’s international waters, if it is the shortest route connecting two points in international waters.
Governor Romney, I'm glad that you recognize that Al Qaida is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what's the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not Al Qaida; you said Russia, in the 1980s, they're now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because, you know, the Cold War's been over for 20 years.
Nothing to see here, after all, the Cold War's been over for more than 20 years now!
The cold war WAS won, and we won it. Of course, Barky's doing all he can to walk it back and pull defeat out of the jaws of victory. Between the troika of Barky, Shrillary, and Lurch, they've been determined to re-fight the Cold War, but this time, make sure we actually lose.

“What does ‘unprofessional’ even mean?”
It means what we say it means. That is determined by who is in control. That’s all. (With apologies to the Cheshire Cat.)
That’s what it looked like to me. The Gravely was engaging in a little NASCAR blocking maneuver. She blew past the Russian ship then as she crossed ahead she changed course to match the Russian, then cut her speed. There was a US aircraft carrier on the left side of the frame, so that was probably the motivation for putting the move on Putin’s PT Boat.
Wish our military would quit using that term unprofessional. Its really gay sounding, like “it scared us”.
And these days, I want to see film so I can judge which ship was doing the BS moves. My pretty accurate rule of thumb is to assume out military leadership is always dishonest, just like those they serve. (hint, it aint we the people)
Was one ship on a steady course and the other making maneuvers? Or were they both slicing and turning?
Still pushing our incompetent President.

Here’s our woman driver cutting them off. Before she complained.
Russian ships of the line; and ours carry matching placards in both languages with signal flag symbols describing what they are going to do. It may look dangerous but it’s just the game we play! I’ve seen it many times in my Navy career.
I remember the signalmen telling jokes with flags.
