I’ve never understood why the Negro people, Black, African-American, whatever they have been called over time — I’ve never understood why they give 90+% of their votes automatically to Democrat candidates.
Why is this? Are they voting Democrat to show gratitude to President Johnson and Democrats for passing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965?
But then, if that’s what they are doing, their voting is misguided. If you go back and check the roll call votes, you will see that numerous Republicans supported those laws. And in the case of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, proportionally more Republicans than Democrats voted for that law.
Do they think somehow, that because of their historically erroneous view, that Democrats gave them civil rights, that this means that they always have to vote Democrat? Do they realize that they can vote for Republicans, Green party, various independent candidates?
The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. Blacks are no better off today than they were 50 years ago, yet they keep on voting for DemocRats.
They support all the gimme stuff, not Democrats. If the gimme stuff was given out by Satan they’d be talking up
Satan.
