A big part of politics is appearances and perceptions. If something looks bad, people will likely conclude it is bad — even if there's no actual evidence or proof of its relative badness. Politicians know this; it's why they don't wear funny hats or get in tanks (anymore).
And it's why Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch should have known better when they huddled privately at the Phoenix airport earlier this week. Lynch is the nation's top cop and, as such, oversees the FBI, which is conducting an investigation into whether Hillary Clinton or any of her associates broke the law in setting up a private email server for her electronic correspondence during her four years as secretary of state. Meeting privately with the former president of the United States who also happens to be Hillary Clinton's husband looks really, really bad.

IMO if she is indicted Obama will have to pardon her. His legacy is on the line and a pardon will put the issues to bed. The truth may come out but it won’t be very scandalous and it won’t taint his legacy. After all he appointed her, supported her, and endorsed her while she was supposedly his representative to the world. IMO the email is bad but the use of the office of SOS to travel the world raising private money is a far worse crime in the grand scheme. It reeks of corruption of the highest order. And the fish stinks from the head down, which is why Obama would have to try to bury it all rather than let it be said he was a dupe, a fool, a patsy to a SOS who kept her boss, the POTUS, in the dark by hiding all of her communications.
How does the ‘Morning News’ anchor have sources? They are just smiley faces who drag their ass#s in at 4am and read what ever the producers put up on the teleprompter amid bouts of happy talk.
The question I have if BC surprised Lynch by just walking up to her plane. Who gave the no photos order? and if this was a secret meeting why were there people taking pics?
Obama has always had the problem of how does he get Hillary out of the race with clean hands. Bill just helped him. Now all Obama has to do is follow the FBI’s recommendations.

Meeting privately in an airplane is probably the only way to ensure that no sound from the meeting is recorded.
It probably went like this:
Bill: "How's the grand children?"
Lynch: "Great, I love seeing them"
Bill: "Hillary loves seeing hers too and if for some reason she's unable, well, you know, that'd be a shame."
Bill "Here, [Bill pulls out some pictures] let me show you a picture of them, oh wait those appear to be your grand children. Huh, wonder how those got in there? You have a nice day Loretta. Hug those kids tight! [smiles and wave]

• In general, only claims of negligence — as opposed to intentional misconduct — are allowed (though some claims for intentional misconduct can be brought against certain federal law enforcement officers).
• The claim must be based on — and permitted by — the law of the state in which the misconduct occurred.
Despite these and numerous other limitations on FTCA lawsuits, the federal government still pays out millions of dollars each year to compensate FTCA claims. Maybe it will get someone’s attention. And I’ll bet I can find at least one hundred lawyers and a number of organizations that would like to get a piece of Uncle Sugar.

Unless you're a Clinton, it's always stressful to be committing major crimes in order to help someone else cover up their major crimes.

I have seen it reported that Bill was there fundraising and that he purposely arrived at the airport when Lynch arrived. Further, Bill got out of his car and just waltzed on her plane uninvited.
How did Bill know when she was scheduled to arrive?
