Up to nine attackers shouting "Allahu Akbar" stormed a popular restaurant in Dacca, Bangladesh Friday, taking hostages and setting off bombs in a siege claimed by ISIS.
The Islamic State's Amaq News Agency said the attack on the restaurant was carried out by "Islamic State commandos," according to the SITE Intelligence Group which monitors jihadist activity.

My sister saw a trailer on the news today said Obama issued an executive order that military will be responsible for protecting civilians. A friend saw it too but I can’t find anything on it.
CNN is saying that,after a burst of gunfire,that the siege is over——but that there now is dead silence.
No one saying anything.

Unidentified attackers traded gunfire with police on Friday night near the Holey Artisan Bakery cafe in high-security Gulshan diplomatic area in the Bangladesh capital. At least 20 civilians, including foreigners, are believed to be held hostage.
