But while the pardon was a political mistake, it certainly was not a financial one. In the years following the scandal, the flow of funds from those connected to Marc Rich or the pardon scandal have continued to the Clintons.
Rich died in 2013. But his business partners, lawyers, advisers and friends have showered millions of dollars on the Clintons in the decade and a half following the scandal....
...In the years since the pardon was granted, Dozoretz has served the Clintons closely: as the finance co-chair of Hillarys 2008 campaign and as a senior State Department official during Hillarys tenure. She has supported the super PAC Ready for Hillary and the Hillary Clinton campaign. Her husband, Ronald, has sent $25,000 to $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

Here is a litany of questionable dealing Bill and Hillary have had related to the notorious Marc Rich pardon.

I thought that this article deserves a thread here. Thanks!
Thank you!!
but Mitch McConnell says the Clinton’s would be great to have as President.
The Clintons understand high level shakedowns...
to pay OFF big, I think he means
Clinton’s biggest campaign donor in his years as Arkansas governor was the biggest cocaine dealer in the state. Guess what this cocaine dealer received when Clinton was on his way out as governor and on his way in as president. A complete pardon.
I still think the Clintons have a secret bank account with hundreds of millions courtesy of Marc Rich.
Rich offered a settlement of hundreds of millions to the DOJ - which was rejected. I bet he made the same offer to the Clintons.
And that just demonstrates that McConnell has to go...one of many RINOs that need t be shown the door out of Washington.
I bet you Denise had to offer something else to seal the deal for the pardon too knowing slick willie.
Russia bought 20 percent of all uranium production capacity in the US, a deal that needed to be signed off on by the State Department when it was headed by Hillary Clinton. While the deal was going through, Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 to give a speech in Moscow, paid for by a Russian investment bank promoting the uranium deal.
Kurzin, meanwhile, donated $1 million to the Clinton Foundation."
Basic lawyering - the best client is a scared millionaire.
I lived and worked in Marc Rich’s world for years. I have only one degree away from him back in the day through several connections. Some of those names sure are familiar.
Rich was egregious with his trades, and really was only caught because of his enormous tax evasion. Makes you wonder if he had given the US govt their “unfair share” (they want unfair amounts from expats doing well and paying taxes elsewhere), if he ever would have made any most wanted list. Even when they knew he was daisy chaining and trading with enemies right and left.
Here is the story of the Marc Rich pardon from confidential witness I taped. It was a 250 million dollar bribe.
