Finally making good on long-harbored anger at conservative media, Democrats on the Federal Election Commission voted in secret to punish Fox News' sponsorship of a Republican presidential debate, using an obscure law to charge the network with helping those on stage.
It is the first time in history that members of the FEC voted to punish a media outlet's debate sponsorship, and it follows several years of Democratic threats against conservative media and websites like the Drudge Report.
The punishment, however, was blocked by all three Republicans on the commission, resulting in a 3-3 tie vote and no action.
A Republican FEC commissioner leading that fight, Lee E. Goodman, revealed the vote to Secrets Wednesday and said the official report of the May 26 executive vote will be released Thursday.

Tell it to Romney.
.... It will take a while for them to realize that the Constitution is already gone ..... Because all they ever did was just snicker and point fingers .... They never really did anything to save or protect it.
SUCKING FOXNOOZ IS NOGOOD THEY WERE MEAN TO TTRUMP MEGYN KELLY SHOW IS UNIPARTY !!11!1! AND BLEEDING 11!!1!!
Perhaps one of the Republicans hinted that their vote could go with the Democrats if Trump was fairly treated by FoxNews?
Setting up the stage for Hillary to refuse debates.
Why do you think that the republicans even care about anything beyond their own bank accounts? Give me one example of the filthy republicans standing up to anyone other than Trump. Just one. Snicker and point?? Why? As both parties are on the same team the republicans were cheering the democrats on. Paul Ryan and Mitchy McConnell bending over for Obama on everything. Based on your statements I question your reasoning powers. Have you been living on a deserted island for the last forty years and missed everything? The Constitution and the nation are exactly where the republican party wants them to be, in the garbage.
Fox news is still on the air?
No more Whoraldo, Fat Rove, BOR or the midget lawyer for me.
I can pick and chose rather than being preached at for any side.
Is this why the panel on Fox now looks like it was recruited from the Star Wars bar?
What is different about FOX sponsoring a debate and CNN sponsoring a debate???
I’m sure Lyn’ Ryan will file suit against this....
LOL
Nothing. But one of the candidates filed the complaint against Fox since they held 2 debates and excluded a low tier candidate. Not sure who it was. The whole thing is a crock.
It is just b*tching and moaning by the dems as far as I can see....
Sometimes I feel we have some that just blindly bash Fox based on ignorance not having actually watched it wall to wall.
Right very second they are blasting the AG meeting with Bill privately to recuse herself. If one were to simply base their “feelings” off comments from these board you’d think Fox consisted of frothing liberals lol.
Sometimes I quietly giggle reading the boards when their selected candidate is challenged.
Fox panel: Republican candidate A why today did you say the sky is green?
FR boards: how dare they ask that question! They must be liberal globalist scum beholden to their money masters! Their in the tank, they want Hillary elected!!!
Snicker
They’re grrrrr iPhone autocorrect!!!
If Flocks did, they’re probably guilty.
There is no agency or bureau in the federal government that can be trusted to be free of this president’s corruption.
“Tell it to Romney.”
Easy for you to say. Romney (after his most recent session) still thinks he’s the first Earthling to step foot on Mars. There’s now way he’s ready for reality yet - he hasn’t been there in 60 years.
This just reinforces the totalitarian tendencies of the Democrats. They really don’t like dissenters being able to speak. They do NOT believe that we should have freedom of Speech. This was probably again with Anne Ravel. She is the leading Dem on the committee and she definitely wants to take away conservatives’ freedom of speech.
This has gone too far. Really too far.
