It's rejection by people like you Freepers ... along with the stress of being a minority, not having access to marriage, and not being allowed to use the bathroom of his declared gender to troll for partners ... that causes people like this guy to smoke, drink, undergo psychological distress and suffer from poor health!

NO!

Oh I can’t believe this!

I have a great idea. Why not make it easier for them to donate to the nation’s blood supply.

Oh wait, they’re already trying to do that.

Well, at least we don’t let terrorists move to the U. S.

What’s that you say?

They are?

How do we know that gays, lesbians and bisexuals don't have the exactly right amount of health problems, while others have far too few? How dare the researchers assume that the condition of bores is the norm while that of the LGBTQIOP is excess?

report impaired physical and mental health, heavy alcohol consumption, and heavy cigarette use, potentially due to the stressors that (they) experience as a result of interpersonal and structural discrimination,”

So let me get this straight; They follow their “nature” and it “stresses” them? Why doesn’t it do the opposite? Homosexuality leads to a life of disease, despair and death. There is no peace or joy in sexual obsession.

With nearly 69,000 participants, the survey revealed that lesbian, gay and bisexual adults "were more likely to report impaired physical and mental health, heavy alcohol consumption, and heavy cigarette use, potentially due to the stressors that (they) experience as a result of interpersonal and structural discrimination," researchers wrote online June 28 in JAMA Internal Medicine.

Is this so? The cause of the stressors that (they) experience is the result of interpersonal and structural separation from Natural Law. That is, the added risks of sexually deviant behavior results in higher risks of contracting STDs, AIDs, and other physical diseases, plus the attendant mental disorders that go with their life style choices.

That is quite the opposit. When a certain segment of society is allowed to do anything without restraint like children, it self abuses.

A few months ago, I coined a new catchphrase: "Reality is Homophobic."

From a health standpoint, it's not so much being gay--it's all the risky behaviors that most homosexuals engage in. The question becomes: "Are the promiscuity, self-destructive, and abusive behaviors inherent to being gay? Or can you be gay and monogamous and 'clean' (From drugs, etc.) and be just as healthy as heterosexuals?"

But, if we assume that homosexuality is a choice and believe that people are gay because that's what gets them off sexually, then we get back to the concept of the wages of sin.

There has never been a better (more opportune) time to be gay. And if these pathologies persist, then the intellectually honest observer has to conclude that the gay lifestyle is not an "equally valid" choice as being a monogamous heterosexual from an actuarial standpoint.

I’m frankly shocked at the reasonable comments - on a Yahoo article! It’s overwhelmingly pro-sanity.
