They shouldn't have tried to scare us. It is a sign of how little the Remainers understand or know about Britain, and above all about England, that they thought would work.
I do sometimes wonder if these odd denaturated shiny types, who actively prefer foreign rule to their own, ever visit their own country. Confined to multicultural London neighbourhoods for most of the year, they then hurry abroad.......
The Remainers' snobbery was their own undoing. They believed they were superior to their fellow countrymen and women, when they just luckier and richer. Judging from their response to the referendum result, many of them still do......
Of course it's not just about immigration. A wonderful alliance, which I have long hoped for, has been forged in this campaign.
It has brought together two groups who had never really met before. The first group are the social and moral conservatives, whose views the Blairised Tory Party despised, while it still relied on their money and votes. The second are the working-class families whose votes the Blairised Labour Party relied on, while it dismissed and ignored their concerns.
It is not just the mass migration that worries them. They are also distressed about the decline in their standard of living, the pressure to get into debt, the way good state schools are reserved for the rich and cunning, the shriveling of opportunities for the young, the unchecked spread of crime and disorder, the ridiculous cost of housing, and the general overcrowding of everything from roads to hospitals.
If it weren't for the old tribal party labels, these two groups would long ago have realized they were friends and allies.......
What we need is for the Tory Party and the Labour Party to collapse and split and be replaced ...

Good reading with implications for the politics of this country as well.
Those bloody old people voting to leave. What have they ever done for Europe? #Brexit
This is exactly what is happening in the US. This November's election will be the catalyst for a realignment.

The unthinkable just happened.
The political intelligentsia, elitists, bond and equity markets misjudged the will and determination of the people, the free people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain that is, of which I am one, though I am a permanent resident of and reside in the magnificent United States of America.
We want Great Britain to exit the European Union, not all of us mind you.
But, those of us who cherish our freedom, who cherish the rights of citizens of sovereign nations to determine their own future and not be yoked to some cabal of political elites serving the global banking oligarchy, wanted out of our chains.
This is the U.K.s Independence Day.
If you dont know what was really at stake in Britain, its not your fault.
Thats because those same political elitists, the officers of the cabal that would have free people and free markets serve them and their true masters, the worlds big banks, own the media for the most part and anesthetize the public by shooting them full of socialist promises of free everything, everything, that is, except true freedom.
Whats not being talked about is the truth.
Heres what you wont hear or read anywhere else. Heres the truth about the Brexit.
Almost everything being analyzed and commented on regarding the Brexit and what it means has been whitewashed. Not on purpose, but because very few people really understand what happened leading up to the vote and what just happened with the Brexit vote.
Sure, the commonwealth concept of a common European Union, where commerce was freed-up to happen with less and less friction across sovereign state boarders made sense. It made perfect sense.
And thats where it should have stayed. The E.U. should have been about the free flow of goods and services across European boarders. It should have been about business and facilitating economic growth by doing away with tariffs and political pandering.
But that wasnt the grand plan.
The plan was to ultimately knock down all borders and blockages and allow the unmolested flow of goods and services across all E.U. countries boarders, which now heres the rub would have to be financed somehow.
That financing would come via the part of the grand plan that created the euro.
With a common currency there would be no currency differences, no increase of value or devaluation of trading partners currencies.
There would be peace in the neighborhood and lots of trade.
And there would be credit. Lots of credit.
Ah, theres the rub and the first link in the chain of slavery.
As long as everyone adhered to a common currency, it would be easy to lend to one country, or any bank or business in any other country in the Union because it was all the same money. There wouldnt be any threat of currency appreciation or depreciation.
Everyones money would be equal.
Even if every country wasnt.
And they werent.
Bottom-line? The Germans wanted everybody to get credit (to borrow in euros) to buy their exports. Thats how the German economy grows, thats why they are the engine of economic growth in Europe.
And so it was.
Countries cheated and lied about their finances and deficits to get into the E.U. (ask Goldman Sachs about helping liars and cheaters; Ive written about their criminal acts) so they could borrow in a common currency that didnt expose them on international currency markets to economic realities.
Debt soared. Thats because the banks behind the grand plan lent to the hilt.
Then, the ineluctable truth, the first economic postulate, came to pass: Thou shalt not borrow more than thou hast the ability to pay back.
Enter the European Central Bank.
Starting to get it?
A made-up central bank had to be created to make all the scheming work, to provide liquidity when countries couldnt meet their pumped-up obligations.
And then there were asset purchases and negative interest rates.
So, now you know how all that happened. The ECB had to save the scheme for which it became the overseer and enabler.
Except the British said, ENOUGH.
Sincerely,
Shah

Sounds somewhat familiar.
The old ideological divides have disappeared.
In UK, strongest support for Brexit came not from Tories but from Labour working class constituencies.
Voters ignored the elites’ advice and simply voted to “leave.”
In this revolution, the UK has been profoundly changed.
I’m very glad that they did this without bloodshed. I’m glad that Britain got it’s independence without violence.
Because we didn’t seem to have the same luck getting our independence from them.
Today the whole world thinks that freedom comes from the ballot box. No no no no ... The Remainers will not give in so easily.
When the UK economy starts to recover as EU countries go deeper into the shredder, they’ll start crying “unfair” and demanding that the UK pay some sort of severance fee to compensate for things it “stole” while it was part of the EU.
They’ll accuse the UK of “unfair competition.”
They’ll accuse the UK of “stabbing them in the back.”
That remains to be seen!
The beheadable millenials want to off The Greatest Generation.
Our prayers are with the U.K. We need to follow their lead.
Hope President Trump reestablishes our special relationship.
What did these old people ever do for Europe?
Well now, if a picture is worth a thousand words on average
then the picture you posted would fill a set of books like Churchill’s Second World War.
The last paragraphs lay it out.
“Parliament is pro-EU. The Civil Service is pro-EU, the judiciary is pro-EU, the BBC is pro-EU....We have had only half a revolution. If we do not now complete it, we will have missed an unequalled opportunity to reclaim what is and always was ours.”
The last paragraph lays out revolution.
Not even easily talked about with a populace who has even their knives banned.
I doubt it. The democrats will remain the socialist labor party and the GOP will remain the coalition of everyone else.
“Parliament is pro-EU. The Civil Service is pro-EU, the judiciary is pro-EU, the BBC is pro-EU....We have had only half a revolution.”
Here in America, congress is pro-commie, the Civil Service is pro-commie, the judiciary is pro-commie, the media are pro-commie, academia is pro-commie....We haven’t had any part of a meaningful revolution.
“democrats will remain the socialist labor party”
Democrats are the party of disgusting, depraved perverts, the enemies of God and mankind, foul, loathsome, creepy-crawling catamites of Satan, who must be removed from all positions of power in both the public and private sectors.
If I were king, I wouldn’t even let them raise their own kids.
Both major parties are pro-world system parties wanting open borders and subordinate themselves to big business including corporate hostility to freedom of speech and religion.
Four or more GOP governors caved to corporate pressure and opposed religious freedom legislation to protect gay marriage dissenters.
The latest veto this spring from Governor Nathan Deal of Georgia. The bill was specifically designed to protect religious institutions themselves but was opposed by big corporations and business groups like Coke, Home Depot and the list goes on......
The meme is definitely that it was “the old people” who wanted to Brexit. Therefore young people are supposed to think its old fashioned to want to Brexit. The system will really be out to get the old people now. IF I were old and in Britain I wouldn’t be taking any vaccines or having any major surgeries for awhile.
