Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump may do something thats never been done before hey may name members of his cabinet ahead of the general election.
When radio host Hugh Hewitt made the suggestion Thursday morning, Trump said he liked the idea.
I think I might be inclined to do that, he said.
In particular, Hewitt noted it could be a smart campaign move that would prove to nervous conservative voters that he is putting together a serious team to take on national security issues. The Republican nominee has already released his choices for the Supreme Court - a list that was received warmly by conservatives.
However, CNN analyst and former President Obama adviser David Axelrod noted on Thursday that Trump naming his cabinet early could come back to bite him, especially if one if those people makes a huge gaffe ahead of the election.
Trump also weighed in on his potential vice presidential picks on Thursday morning. Hewitt suggested Sen. Tom Cotton and Gov. Chris Christie, both of whom has a record of taking on terrorism, would be helpful in terms of national security. The candidate agreed, but it looks like we're going to have to wait a bit before he is ready to make an official announcement.

Instead of the usual suspects, the best thing he could do as far as conservatives are concerned would be to appoint known corporate “hatchet men”, who specialize is *disassembling* corporations, and in this case, government agencies.
Others specializing in eliminating deadwood, purging the unethical and corrupt, and otherwise streamlining corporations, or again, government agencies.
This goes hand in hand with Trump appointing real “pit bull” federal prosecutors, to go after government employees who have broken the law, with an eye to putting them in prison.
Then his cabinet officers will refer these corrupt federal employees to a prosecutor who will not throw them softballs.
Other important duties for his cabinet: disarming federal agencies that are not police, intelligence or military.
Consolidating agencies and organizations. The US does not need 100+ different federal police agencies. Many of them need to be absorbed into other agencies.
Currently, there are about 2.8 million federal employees. Let’s see how many fewer we need?
Here is obnoxious Hewitt doing his Trump interview. He was giving him advice and Trump was just being polite. We all know how accurate Hewitt has been with his political advice and assessments.

It also causes them to bring up lists of potential cabinet members, vet them, discuss their pros and cons AND essentially turn it into free marketing for the Trump campaign.
You just don’t do it!!
Name no one, MSM gets wood when they get fresh meat.
If Trump thinks it’s a good idea, especially from a strategic standpoint, then I think he’ll do it, and I support him 100%.
The mold for elections has been shattered for all times and the master tool and die maker is busy in his workshop, making sure he succeeds in the use of cutting edge technology, that will produce beyond our wildest expectations, a product of inconceivable quality, sought out by the world, and awe inspiring in it’s revelation. A little over the top, but you get the idea.
Trump is going to break the mold at the GOP Convention too. He hinted that he would have the most successful and diverse a group on stage to endorse him, that’s ever been assembled. It will be the most watched Convention ever, and quite possibly the most watched TV program of all time. Celebrities, sports figures, political and religious leaders, and people from walks of life we haven’t even thought of, will step forward to help Trump Make America Great Again. Just think back to all of the people that most of us have forgotten about that have already endorsed Trump.
Trump is not of feelings and talk. Trump is of action and results. No can or can’t- only do!
Obama- therefore HRC, have records of abject FAILURE at everything they touch, save for their criminal activities in plundering the US Treasury, and selling public favors for profit in their laundering schemes, and in said quests they have been successful beyond comprehension.
Then there are the bonus payments to govt workers or other tax funded people who are already paid for the job they are expected to do at their level of compensation. The whole govt bureaucy salary structure and benefit programs needs a fine tooth combing. Bonus payments are a civilian option. The govt does not have that option. Too easy to be abused by favoritism etc. Voter fraud in all of its manifestations should have a dedicated person who has the intelligence to understand and solve the problem. Voters should be confident that their vote actually counts. More later. Hatchet persons needed all around when Trump is sworn in.
LOL! Great.
And you will know them by their fruits. PERIOD!
Tear down the curtains and knock the hell out of the columns, as Samson did!
Greg Abbott for VP. Or second, AG.
Trump needs to name the special prosecutor who will put both Clintons and obama and many others in jail.
AMEN!
I love it when Trump plays kitty paw with the media twits...ROFL!!!
