LOL!! Talk about an accident.
I’ve spent the better part of an hour “arguing” with Mom. I’m trying to cool off now. She’s pulling the guilt trip again about me spending time on my computer when I get home from work. Too bad...I’m the only one who can make me feel guilty and it won’t fly.
She wants to be out and about during the day. “That’s why I’m wearing the medic alert button”. Now she wants to know why I didn’t put the commode next to the bed (I left it at the foot...where it was when she fell last week). “What if I need it?” She can’t have it both ways. And if I put it by the bed, it stays there until I move it. “Well, I can just push it.” No you can’t. It has to be lifted and she can barely walk as it is. I give up. My brain is exhausted.

Whew! You have my sympathies! And it’ll only get worse the older she gets, if it’s anything like we dealt with with Aunt Clara. She’s still stubborn but the caretakers at the nursing home have the “fun” of dealing with it.
I wondered how long it would be before she started complaining about staying in bed while you’re at work. It didn’t take long, did it? :-(
Just came in from watering the flowers and watching a “light show”. We’ve been able to see flashes in the sky for a couple of hours. The storms were a good 50 miles or more away when we first noticed and now it looks like we might accidently get some rain!! We hope so for the crops’ sake. All the fields around here are full of stressed crops.
