Yeah, the whole march towards an enemy and get mowed down is the sort of tactics employed by those telling other people’s kids to fight and die for them. It’s why the flintlocks and muskets, despite being actually inferior to the longbow for many years, were so popular: they were cheap and it was realatively easy to train some kid from a city to line up and use one. Compared to the relatively high value archers the musketmen were expendable to their lords and masters.

Of course the Militiamen didn’t consider themselves expendable....

Must forward this link to older kid. She has plans of becoming a history teacher and this is exactly the type of story that’ll encourage the students to actually think about what happened rather than just memorizing dates. And hopefully it’ll have a positive impact on their mindsets, too.

commandeered the education system,... You've got that right, pal. On June sixth, I was at my doctor's office waiting for him to see me. The History Channel was on, and they were showing the D-Day landings. Two nurses came out to get me, and I asked them if they knew what D-Day was and it's significance in Our history, and they had no idea what I was asking them or talking about. Sad.

The rub about this, is that the colonist rebels had lots of support from other countries like France, Spain and Holland. France supplied 90 percent of the gunpowder, along with uniforms, cannons and muskets. Not to take away from the hard work of the colonists in resisting British overreach, but the colonists largely won the war because of outside help.

This time around, we go it alone. Good thing folks have stocked up on ammo and arms.

Imagine that scenario with modern precision rifles in the hands of the Colonists.

“Especially vulnerable were British Officers on horseback.”

Now they ride in MRAPs. We have gasoline bombs.

I may be one of the few who first thought the article was about some more current event. I kept thinking; “Why haven’t I heard about this before now?” Never mind.

It wasn't just you.

“Now they ride in MRAPs. We have gasoline bombs.”

The Syrians and Palestinians make home made rockets. I suppose that could be done almost anywhere.

The Canadas announced that anyone “loyal to the King” could find a safe haven there, with all the tea you could drink and freedom from the ravages of climate change that had made the Thirteen Colonies “almost too warm for human life.”

“Here ye will find affordable health care, if ye don’t mind taking a number and returning ye next year,” said the Governor.

i’ve been telling the “go along to get along” crowd that any gun confiscation program undertaken by the feddle gummint would spark a 2nd civil war. they always tell me that they cannot envision any conceivable scenario that would lead to that. i remind them about the events at Lexington and Concord.

No need to read it. Never going to happen. Want your Medicare? Want to keep your SS check? Want your free tuition? Want to be a government contractor, employee, or retiree? Just sign this here affidavit saying you do not posses firearms.

If you are ever caught with them bye-bye handouts.

How will your behavior be modified after that point to makes sure no one discovers your guns? Will you still speak out? Will you run for office?

The frogs and libs are canny. We have many laws unenforced simply so that we are criminals just waiting to be persecuted when the political winds are correct.

It is about time for another Revolution. The Democrats and Elite Republicans run the country at the behest of the rich.
