Dr. Ben Carsons brilliance is beyond debate. However, there is a definite reason why I would trust the famed neurosurgeon to operate on my childs brain and not entrust him with the Oval Office.
Now, the former presidential candidate has declared that it is time to put on the table a discussion on whether or not we actually need the Second Amendment.

Take one chip out of the Constitution and the next one comes out easier and soon the whole thing is gone.
Lets put freedom on the table and see if we need it. Same same.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed because we are free men and the rights described in the Constitution are pre-existing rights simply being acknowledged and codified.
You can’t negotiate away the Second Amendment anymore than you could the First.
Maybe the press doesn’t need to be free......to be the Ministry of Propaganda

The 2ndAdm was formalized and put in place as a citizens’ counterbalance and check to/for the Federal and State governments.

I think the Declaration of Independence kind of handled the question of the Natural Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
Our Creator endowed us with the Natural Right to Keep and Bear Arms, thus, Mitt-licking thug tyrants like ZeroBama and Felony Clinton can't over-ride the will of the Creator.

We lose the second and we will surely lose the others.

Sorry Doc.
Not with more than half the voters stupid enough to elect Barack Obama TWICE.
And that was before he admitted millions of illegal aliens unregistered democrat voters.
There is a constitutional procedure for changing the constitution.
That is the only way it can be changed constitutionally, legally, morally and ethically.

Nail on the head. And the Lefties know that once they get their enemy to open any topic up for discussion they will be able to overwhelm them with their emo knee-jerk whining until no one can stand it anymore and they get their way...
To: rktman
For a supposedly brilliant guy, he sure is dumb.
To: rktman
Ben’s in the wrong party. He obviously doesn’t understand, or believe in, the Constitution.
