The “former lover” makes this statement:

“My reaction was that can’t be the man I know,” the stunned former lover told Univision. “It’s impossible that the man I know could do that.”

Then he jumps to the conclusion, against all evidence, that this was a revenge killing of gay men, instead of an act of Islamic terror.

If the facts do not fit the narrative, that facts must be changed. Typical “progressive” logic.

It doesn’t matter what the immediate cause he blamed it on was. Don’t be misled by ANY purported cause other than terrorism.

muslim hates his coworkers. It’s not terrorism, it’s workplace violence.
muslim hates his gay lover. It’s not terrorism, it’s a lover’s quarrel.
muslim hates Latinos. It’s not terrorism, it’s racism.
etc.

It is always easy to point to a different reason. But there isn’t really one. Other people have gripes against coworkers, lovers, people of another race. But they don’t commit jihad while yelling “allah akhbar” and commit mass murder. Now where do you suppose these terrorists would get the idea to do that?
