Supposedly, time and space started with the Big Bang. So there was no “before” the Big Bang.

Without time, there can be no change, so if time did not exist before the Big Bang, then we would still be in the state that we were in before the Big Bang, since nothing could ever change from that state.

That’s just one of the reasons that the Big Bang is a self-contradictory theory.

Actually, "Let there be light" occurred some 300KYrs after the initial creation of everything (space, time, matter) -- when the density of the expanding hyper-comressed universe dropped to a level that photons were able to propahate freely.

Interestingly, in the description sequence in Genesis i, "Let there be light" occurs exactly at the same point in the sequence where we can see the CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background) -- which, a mere 300,000 years from the initiation, already had a pattern imposed on it.

If I have time to do so, I'd be glad to explain how/when (in Genesis and per current scientific observations) that designed pattern was imposed....
