This man's unfortunate car wreck would never have happened, as it would cause instant release of the story he was working on.
I think for something like that to work it would go into a count down mode and the data not be necessarily be instantly released. Even though can be done. Doing it with a countdown would probably help avoid accidental life changing events if system accidents occurred and data was prematurely dumped.
Was that the writer who said he needed to get away for a while and then died in a car “accident”?
U.S. Repeals Propaganda Ban, Spreads Government-Made News to Americans
One example included a report by the late BuzzFeed reporter Michael Hastings, who suggested that the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act would open the door to Pentagon propaganda of U.S. audiences. In fact, as amended in 1987, the act only covers portions of the State Department engaged in public diplomacy abroad (i.e. the public diplomacy section of the "R" bureau, and the Broadcasting Board of Governors.)
Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012
Authorizes the Secretary and the Board to make available in the United States motion pictures, films, video, audio, and other materials prepared for dissemination abroad or disseminated abroad pursuant to such Act, the United States International Broadcasting Act of 1994, the Radio Broadcasting to Cuba Act, or the Television Broadcasting to Cuba Act.
FALSE FLAGS are LEGAL PROPAGANDA PRODUCED by the Department of Defense
According to Michael Hastings: The new law would give sweeping powers to the State Department and Pentagon to push television, radio, newspaper, and social media onto the U.S. public.
It removes the protection for Americans, says a Pentagon official who is concerned about the law. It removes oversight from the people who want to put out this information. There are no checks and balances. No one knows if the information is accurate, partially accurate, or entirely false.
And sourcery, as usual, your thread HOW COVERT AGENTS INFILTRATE THE INTERNET TO MANIPULATE, DECEIVE, AND DESTROY REPUTATIONS spurred me on to find it as well. That nagging in the back of my brain, so to speak.
