I’m no longer thinking “landslide” for Trump unless the so-called “Monster Vote” materializes in numbers previously unimagined.
The Lamestream Media pounding has had an effect. Low-information voters seem to hate the NY businessman without being able to produce a shred of proof. The false memes of him being a hater or a bigot or an Islamophobe seem to have taken root.
I don’t think Trump is the ideal candidate either, but I’m willing to take a shot with a loose cannon just to see some changes made. His heart is in the right place and that counts for a lot. If the nation could survive Andrew Jackson, it can certainly survive Donald J. Trump.

Hillaryous Rotten Criminal is no blank slate. Trump will hit her so hard she’ll probably start crying during a debate (worth points) and the “bully” card will be trump. Perhaps William Jefferson Criminal will be on his death bed or buried within 5 months…or Chelsea or POSOTUS or TRUMP. Put nothing past these criminals on both sides of the aisle.

I agree completely! As sad as it may be, America is beyond repair and has been since that time. That’s because We, the People have kept hanging our hopes on Washington and its politicians when it’s we that have let our freedoms and our nation be destroyed. No one of us wanted to interrupt our convenient little worlds by bucking the pc world of politics and government in our daily lives. When they passed laws that required us to give up freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom to do business with whom we want and where, most of us folded and followed their edicts like sheep to slaughter. When the educational system started trashing, changing and belittling our history and heritage, we let them because we didn’t want to upset the rotten apple cart. Now they want to disarm us and, little by little, we’re falling in line. Welcome to the results. I’m not leaving myself out of this because I’ve done the same. I took the benefits my Father gave me by fighting in WWII and squandered them. Now I’ll pay the price that I was unwilling to pay before.
Donald Trump as President will change nothing unless the American People stand up and demand that he represent us instead of a bunch of deadbeats and foreign interests. Government is our servant not the other way around. We forgot that.

I don’t have any plans to leave my little corner of SW New Mexico, but if things really DO go bad, there will probably be droves of of the Azatlan types coming north to attempt the Reconquista they’ve been dreaming and protesting about. That’s just one disadvantage of being near the border.
You’re idea of New Zealand is quite popular with some of the richest people in the USA and the world. They’re quietly buying up places on one of the smaller islands, the name of which is eluding me now. I’ve heard that it can be quite difficult to go through all the hurdles to emigrate there, but for the billionaires, I suppose their money makes the process easier. The other location that is rumored to be the billionaire-bug-out destination is down on the southern tip of South America. Once again, the exact location is eluding me right now, but I think perhaps it’s Patagonia.
I love the United States and all the physical beauty and resources God has blessed us with here. I’ll stay, but I will not sit here and cower if it gets ugly.

Don’t need to bug-out to NZ. Here in the rural South self-defense and self-sufficiency are common attributes. Outsiders with bad intent would not last long.
Having said that, some folks I know say that places like Uruguay, Chile, and Ecuador would make a better choice for expatriate Americans.
I firmly believe that listing the failings of socialist governments can be a Trump card (pun intended). Yes, he should also hit Hillary between the eyes with her history of corruption and lies. However, her base will just ignore it.
If they were taught or reminded why America became so great through free enterprise, opportunity without Fedgov interference, pride of work ethic, basic values, maybe some of the low-info voters may start to re-assess their socialist beliefs. Sorry for the run-on sentence.
It’s going to get more and more ugly.
