Love her or hate her, there’s no doubt Nancy Pelosi has been the most effective Speaker of the House in the last 50 years.
One of the reasons is that she knows when to pick her spots.

I have to agree with you on this.
It’s quite telling how different George Bush’s actions were pre-2006 (mixed opinions) and post-2006 (inarguably awful); this is because of how he was cowed into submission by her. She is also the primary cause of the 2008 crash, and I believe she is likely the chief architect of many of Soetoro’s malicious plans.
