Dayton-based Premier Health is seeking an average 40 percent premium increase next year for the health plans its sells on Ohio's federally-run health insurance marketplace, while the area's largest marketplace insurer, CareSource, has proposed an average rate hike of about 14 percent, based on the latest rate filings with the Ohio Department of Insurance.

Of the more than 266,000 Ohioans who signed up for marketplace plans by the end of open enrollment for 2016, about 88 percent, or nearly 235,000 consumers, were eligible to receive premium tax credits, according to figures from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

I can’t believe it. I’m still holding my breath for the $2500 I was promised. Any day now, I just know it...

It’s a “local problem.”

No it’s not. It’s everywhere.

My son can get insurance through his wife’s company for him, his wife and their two daughters. The premiums would be $600 a month. They got obamacare for $150 a month with $1,000 deductible for each person.

So, once again, obamacare is not about “affordable healthcare” as it was sold. It’s about “affordable insurance” and it doesn’t get anywhere near affordable.

Have either Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren been asked to comment on this by the MSM?

And, actually, this economy-destroying Trojan Horse was not even about "health insurance" either, VerySadAmerican, it was about coercive control of the economy and America's future as a nation.

C. S. Lewis described the kind of "good" the Clintons and Obama have been interested in doing.

"“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.” - ― C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock: Essays on Theology (Making of Modern Theology)

Rates are not “spiking”. The are continuing on their expected upward trend. In other words, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”

Not for the EXEMPT liars in the GOP who promised,
on their parents’ graves, they they would remove
ObamaCARE, but instead passed ObamaTRADE, too.

The GOP is the curse on America for electing
the Islamic terrorist supporter known as Obama-the-Unvetted.

Really it’s for the alleged good.

This never was in the mission of government as assigned by God.
