JENSEN BEACH, Fla. Omar Mateen visited a gun shop in this town near his home about five or six weeks ago. His request: heavy-duty body armorrated IIIA, the sort typically used by law enforcementand bulk ammunition.
While at the store, Mateen had a phone conversation in which he appeared to be speaking in a Middle Eastern language, according to Robbie Abell, the co-owner of the store, Lotus Gunworks of South Florida. Staffers also noticed him texting on his phone.
Mateen just seemed very odd, Mr. Abell said. The questions he was asking [about body armor] were not the normal questions a normal person would be asking.
Lotus Gunworks doesnt carry armor. Employees declined to sell Mateen bulk ammunition, turning him away. If something is suspicious, its our discretion, Mr. Abell said. We are the gatekeeper.

Susanne Coburn Laforest, a 61-year-old retired corrections offer and former classmate of Mateen, didnt recall his comments regarding Virginia Tech. She said he threatened to shoot his classmates at the cookoutwhich she said was held on a gun rangeafter his hamburger touched pork.
He flipped out, she said, told people not to laugh at him and said he was going to come back and shoot us, she recalled.

Mr. Abell added that the store had been given a heads up earlier by law-enforcement authorities to be on the lookout for suspicious people. Mr. Abell wouldnt specify which authorities.
This raises a few questions...
Was the "head's up" specific to Mateen?
If not, was a non-specific warning given because they knew Mateen was looking to buy guns in the area?
What did the unnamed "Law-Enforcement Authorities" know, and when did they know it?
The article is hard to understand. Reading between the lines I think he went to the local Fud shop and asked for items Fuds never use or want. That was his first mistake. Now he’s on their stink-eye radar. His second mistake was speaking in a foreign language. All of it combined caused a No Sale. Had he asked for a couple boxes of 30-30, 12ga or even the less-evil .223 it would have been a done deal with no questions asked.
That said many of my fellow gun owners would have gotten similar treatment b/c they like ‘tactical’ Things. Fuds look down on such people viewing them as radical or whatever. In their narrow view of the world no one needs a weapon holding more than x rds, that is semiauto, thats black, that has this or that. In short they would happily sell out other gun owners for a moment of fame or thinking their doing some great civic service.
Gun shops can not deny selling guns to people with GAY MUSLIM PRIVILEGE!!!!
I want to open a supermarket chain where EVERYTHING has a minimum of 0.01% pork.
I mean everything from the bread to the ice cream to the dish soap.
A ME guy speaking Arabic on his cell phone in a gun store while asking for bulk ammo and body armor is commonplace in your world? No cause for concern?
I just heard about this on Fox News and they were reporting that the owner of the gun shop DID call the FBI.
It was a good thing he didn’t ask them to bake him a cake or sell him some flowers, he could’ve sued the daylights out that shop!
The local sheriff's office responded saying they were unaware of the incident but ....
“....other local authorities, including the local FBI office, have not responded to ABC News’ requests for comment.
The FBI is aware of and is investigating Mateen’s visit to Lotus, officials said...”
That alone leads me to believe the gun shop owner is telling the truth. The feds dropped the ball for whatever reason and as a result 49 people died and 50 were injured. This was not an isolated incident.
-Two ‘inconclusive” investigations.
-His father's support of the Taliban
-Two trips to Saudi Arabia. There was an article on the DailyMail discussing those trips and how unusual it was for a man his age to make 2 trips in such a short period of time.
-Complaints by co-workers.
Alleged beatings of his ex-wife.
-Disney notifying authorities in April.
-Not to mention the red flags we are unaware of.
But look at the headline. “Orlando Shooter Raised Suspicion at Gun Shops.” Look at the lie by omission.
The headline for the WSJ and every other Media outlet should be:
“GUNSHOP OWNER ALERTED AUTHORITIES BEFORE THE MASSACRE. IN SPITE OF THIS AND OTHER RED FLAGS THE FEDS FAILED TO ACT AND MATEEN MASSACRED”
That is the story. I am sickened by the way the whores have cheapened the lives of those who were murdered in the name of gun control.
At least they alerted authority. Not sure if it was FBI.
FBI should have a master list of people who were once investigated. But am betting they are required to destroy all past records.
Muslims are with pork like Baptists are with liquor. They will consume it, not just in front of each other.
...have the president shame you in front of the world!
Go ahead, call the cops if you want to.
Daily Mail says it was FBI
MSM is omitting parts. Or CA for FBI

Sure.
Or you could just require them to TOUCH pork. Jews refuse to consume it, but nothing is wrong with touching it.
Or, alternatively, you could offer shrimp and bacon-wrapped shrimp — the Jewish guy will refuse both, while the mudslime would eat the plain shrimp.
[ It is illegal to discriminate against race, color, religion or national orgin BUT nothing prevents the gun shop from instituting a mandatory bacon test before sales can be completed. ]
And it’s funny how we always seem to run out of bacon when we have a customer wearing a Kippah....
[ I want to open a supermarket chain where EVERYTHING has a minimum of 0.01% pork.
I mean everything from the bread to the ice cream to the dish soap. ]
The Pork Market!
You could just use pork in all the packaging, making even handling it “haram”...
“If you see something say something” unless they are not obviously white. If you say something about them, you are a racist.
I believe the 9-11 hijackers spent the evening of 9-10 drinking an whoring.
Wrong number. 1-800-WeCantCair
Excellent idea, or ham.
