Mitch has always been a RINO Snake in the grass. He won't change now. Just because new legislation is allowed onto the Senate floor doesn't automatically mean it will: #1 PASS and even if it does, there is still a strong House with a lot more pro gun folks than in the Senate. All sorts of things can be added to kill the bill. Poison Pill amendments, stuff like that. It will take a long time. Run out the clock. That's the critical factor here.

Nearly all of whom are hiding under their desks on this issue and unwilling to enthusiastically get on the Trump train.
