Mark says the Republican nominee is about to fold on guns.
Last I checked Trump hasn’t said anything other than he would be in the meeting with the NRA.
I think Mark is still a part of or supporter of that backstabbing coalition (Romney, Kristol, et al) who still think they can derail Trump’s nomination.
The problem for Mark/Ted is that they will not dump Trump for Cruz. If they did succeed in dumping Trump, they would nominate one of their own — Jbush, Romney, Ryan, or similar establishment candidate.
That backstabbing, sour-grapes whiner, Rinocrat coalition doesn’t really care about winning — they just care about keeping their establishment credentials. So they would gladly sabotage things to let Clinton win.
Levine attacking Trump. Pretty rich. Where is his golden boy Ted Cruz on this issue? Cruz is no better than Ryan and McConnell HE’s leaving the presumptive GOP nom bare ass to the wind while he defends us. How principled and conservative of Ted Cruz. What a fraud he is.
I have read the same thing today, of course, I am concerned, it’s an easy trap to fall into.
I am not going to make any judgment until I see what comes of this.
But I did offer advice to Trump in other posts. basically, if he demonstrates that he is of the same mind as all the other usual suspects in this country by agreeing with them and going along with what they want to do, then he is of them.
What we need in America is a leader who clearly identifies the source of the problem and moves to attack that source, in this case it’s islam, and not a leader who identifies our civil rights as the problem, and then proceeds to attack our civil rights.
I hope that Trump is such a person. I hope that he is clear minded and honest. Brutally honest.
Let’s see what comes of this.
It is possible that there may not be a civil solution to what is going on in this country. That is something we may very well have to face soon.
People seem to have lost their ability to reason and think logically and honestly, and instead they have become cowards and liars and schemers and connivers.
It is possible that the only solution lies in something that cannot be discussed.
