Santa Monica's police chief says she was incorrect when she said a heavily armed Indiana man told investigators he was headed to a gay pride parade in order to do harm.
Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks said in a tweet to The Associated Press that her earlier statement on James Howell was inaccurate. The chief said Howell had only told police that he was going to the event known as LA Pride, and he did not say what he intended to do there.

I’d be suspicious of anyone that hasn’t lost all their guns in a boating accident.
If this guy were a right-wing Christian, it would be competing with the Florida murders as the lead story on all the networks. As it is, the MSM are turning the shootings into a story about guns, not Islamic terrorism.

I found another witness video that says he heard shots coming from different directions. Skip to 5:21 - if you click on this link it will lead you to that point of the video:
Maybe there was someone inside with a gun who trying to take down the shooter and was firing back (?). But now we have 2 eyewitnesses who said they heard shots from two different areas around the same time.

I went back and double-checked the article. The information about Howell came from a personal acquaintance, who also said that Howell had no anti-gay views. Other articles filtered the information to make him sound like an NRA “gun nut.”
I no longer believe any California Police Chief, esp. from liberal/Marxist cities.
What a sad day that I have to say this, after having worked with several police departments and decent officers on various issues ranging from potential terrorism to A&B on a VP, drug dealers, and the murder of a police officer.
Also, my son was a K9 officer for a number of years and a combat veteran of Iraq.
The Democrat/Marxist/Black Extremist alliance has successfully killed good police leadership throughout the whole West Coast and much of the East Coast, with Chicago, Cleveland, Houston, and Detroit thrown in for more death and destruction.
