The latest i could find was March 2015. Obama has met with google 230 times.
Nahhh. No collusion.
To: Fred NerksI watched google disappear half a million hits on obama BC the middle of last July.
I no longer use google.

“God wants everybody to strive to accept His grace to that end. If they refuse, its not His fault.”
That’s true, but I don’t really understand your point in this context.
Trying to refer to a Grumbler’s role.
Google: No, were not cooking search-query autocompletes for partisan results
OK, in that case, Google is cooking search-query autocompletes for partisan results. No doubt about it now.
Google is left wing, globalist and activist in it’s technology. It’s fine to criticize Google in whatever topic exposes their manipulation. Same with You Tube and Fakebook.
Be careful lest it come back to you. None of us are simon pure.
And from God’s point of view? I could not blame Him for looking at it in the way He looked at the freed Israelite slaves who complained at every little thing as though it were, oh woe, a new slavery rather than something they now had every reason to know that God could super.
This stuff seems more petty than anything else.
I’m going to give duckduckgo a try. I checked them out and they seem to be good. I also have a things for ducks.
“I also have a things for ducks.”
I’m afraid my relationship with ducks is strictly culinary in nature.
IMHO, Google search engine is mostly based on politics. Relevance is a close second. In any case, I will take your suggestions to heart. Thanks.
Google is mostly interested in money, and influence. Often top results are quite predictable, they promote their friends. That said, the engine is an algorithm and does function to a large extent on keywords, phrases and images, so you have to have good text or images or you’ll be at the back. You can also test your results in Bing and search engines other than Google.
I use Duck,Duck,Go. They claim total privacy, Google violates privacy as an every day practice.
Yes, Google is mostly corrupt and greedy. Bing seems to be a kissing cousin to Google. Same with Yahoo. In any case, you can have all the “good” text and/or images you want but if you cross them politically they suppress your presence in various ways.
On that note, have you ever heard of DMOZ? If so, what do you think about that corrupt operation?
I think I had heard of them. But I never visit. Supported by AOL seems laughable. However, as with Wikipedia, the best way to correct those types of ‘people-driven’ editable sites, is to become a contributor.
Another way to be seen and found is to be a part of communities with like-minded individuals and/or similar interests. Having a Facebook page for a hobby is also a way. I belong to several Facebook groups where generally politics are left out of it so we can enjoy the things we like.
In my experience, becoming an contributor/editor is nearly impossible. What topics on what platforms do you edit or have tried to edit? Just curious.
Google’s and others use of “Filter bubbles” has been an ongoing practice.

However.
The implications, given our “connected culture” will be extraordinary.
I have 2 jobs and no time, although I did contribute at Answers.com for a while. Why do you say it’s “nearly impossible”? most user contributor sites are always looking for people.
It didn’t immediately register that you said “in my experience”. Where did you try to get on board as a contributor?
