Those words were the most positive assembly of pixels to have ever appeared on the smear site and are reason for all of us to celebrate.
Gawker finally got theirs yesterday. After years of gossip-terrorism and vile internet bullying — all masquerading under the guise of journalism — someone finally put a knife in the wretched, pablum Orc once and for all.

Gawker had no redeeming social value. It deserved to die.
Theil was expert and tenacious in execution.
I don’t hear a lot of that gratuitous ‘outing’ going on these days. Maybe because it’s less of an issue. Regardless of frequency, that is still someones private life that is being exposed and forever changed in a negative way.Gawker is lucky Theil has chosen such civilized means of revenge as via courtrooms and the American legal systems. Other parties may have been far more direct, far more lethal in making their anger known.

For you to use the phrase “violation of human decency” in defense of sodomy is indicative of just how far we’ve fallen.
I don’t see him as ‘defending sodomy’ but advocating civilized and decent treatment of other human beings and the particulars of their private lives - Especially on the part of those who pretend to ‘journalism’.

Oh please, give it a rest. Because unless you think homosexuals should be hunted down and killed, ala' ISIS, then there is a MORAL threshold YOU don't believe should be crossed against them. That threshold YOU honor IS your own personal respect of human decency towards gays.
So tell me, how do you justify your honoring of the perversion of God's Law?
If it where child molestation, which you have not yet been indoctrinated into thinking is normal yet, all the prattle about “civilized and decent treatment” would go out the window.
We are being taught NOT to be “sensitive,” as sensitivity is inversely proportional to stimuli.
“Privacy” means nothing in the context of heinous behavior.
There’s a big difference between child molestation and sexual deviancy among consenting adults.
The principle is simply a respect for the privacy of others. Everyone has something in their lives they wouldn’t want to see splashed all over a website, done largely in the interest of making profit on the unhealthy interest of the public.
There have to be some standards in journalism.

Revealing, publicly, the private affairs of a private citizen, IS a violation of decency.
You would prefer every type of sexual practice out in the open ? There are far worse things out there. . .

When I was a kid there was not, so what does that tell you.
That would be a damn sight better than conferring legitimacy to abhorrent practices because you'd be more comfortable treating the practitioners as innocuous as long as they don't rub your nose in it.
Unfortunately, as we've seen in the past twenty years...your nose WILL be rubbed in it.

Reminds me of an encounter my wife once had with a lesbian supervisor: the supervisor recommended "Queer As Folk" when it was on television. When she asked how my wife liked it, wife said she did NOT approve of the show. Of course, the supervisor got on her high horse and asked "WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?" To which my wife replied: "they seem to think nothing of having 17 year olds hanging out in the bar to be 'approached.'"
