Probably they wanted to deny it was terrorism, because otherwise nobody would ever fly again.
So, the “official” story is a fraud.
(And not for the first time.)
But at least in this instance, the motive is understandable.

I firmly believe one of two things...it was either a direct attack covered up by Clinton so his “record” as prez would look better OR it was a horrible mistake by the Navy, also covered by by the Toon for the same reasons....
