With the presidential match-up apparently set now between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, the Republican candidate is opening up a bit more about his faith in Jesus.
“Who do you say Jesus is?” was the question posed to Trump Wednesday by noted columnist and author Cal Thomas.
“Jesus to me is somebody I can think about for security and confidence,” responded Trump.
“Somebody I can revere in terms of bravery and in terms of courage and, because I consider the Christian religion so important, somebody I can totally rely on in my own mind.”

I do pray for Donald Trump. I do believe he defends the faithful and serves a good purpose. May God’s good grace bring Trump greater knowledge and deep faith.

Cal Thomas was vicious to Trump on the radio during the primaries. That’s very generous of Trump to give him an interview.
I don’t think you have to worry about Donald Trump’s salvation. Haven’t you noticed that no weapon formed against Donald Trump has prospered? Why would that be?

Every time Donald Trump says, “I love you!” to a crowd, I am reminded when Jesus said:
John 13
34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Personally, I think Donald Trump is a type of Samson: Doesn’t drink, has wild hair, chases foreign women, gets really upset if the treat him unfairly, really good a slaying Philistines, and brings down the Temple of Dagon.

RICH VERA recently was on the SID ROTH SHOW (It’s Supernatural) and shared that the LORD had given him a Word of Knowledge about DONALD TRUMP.
Apparently The Donald has a Divine assignment. TRUMP is going anywhere but up in the polls. Here is the text of the show regarding TRUMP.

A person who is saved acknowledges he/she is a sinner and that JESUS CHRIST died for his/her sins. JESUS CHRIST is the only way to GOD and eternal life. The blood of JESUS paid the price for sin.
A person who is saved acknowledges JESUS CHRIST as his/her personal Lord and Savior and Friend.
I continue to pray for TRUMP.
I vote for Mr. Trump having some quality time with Franklin Graham, Michael Youseff, Jack Graham, Perry Stone, etc.

I agree he is making progress, but
I pray for Donald Trump, too, but I pray that he continues on the path YHWH has set for him to follow. That path does not appear to include the kind of declarations that you think a Christian would make.

I think Trump is making "progress". He is not there yet, but he seems open to getting there and that is important.
The correct answer to the question is “God”.
It is the test prescribed in the bible for the discernment of spirits.
Cal Thomas in his wording of the question in that way makes it clear to me that he was looking to see if Trump was really born again, or just faking it.
Trump didn’t really pass the test (technically) but I’m holding out hope.
I wonder what Cal Thomas thought of his answer.
KEEP PRAYING for Trump, for his salvation, for the protection of him and his family.
