Good thing I am a news junkie. This is the total opposite of what everyone is reporting. I have a VCR I use to record news stories and so was able to rewind it and get this guy's name and find the video.

A VCR? Awesome! Maybe can send us a Telex to let us know the guy’s name. :p

I keep seeing this word "surrogate" in headlines about Trump, instead of the more appropriate "supporter". If they are employed by him, it should be "campaign official" or something like that. By saying "surrogate" what they are saying is that anything these people say is the same as Trump saying it.
Anyone seen the word "surrogate" used with anyone speaking about Hillary? Didn't think so.

I made the same point on another thread.
The presstitutes think the dummies won’t know what a “surrogate” is and they’ll assume it’s something bad.

That is how he referred to himself and his colleagues in the interview.

I have a FAX machine that is perfectly good.
Every neighbor uses it—both incoming & outgoing instead of driving miles to the Senior Center.

I listened and you are right. He called himself a surrogate. It seems he has adopted the language that the media was using, in this one interview. They are not his surrogates. They are spokespeople, campaign officials or employees. They have some level of authority to act on his behalf. They are not “surrogates” in the normal sense of the word.
