It looks like the British Shipyard have gone the route the British Automobile manufacturers went in the 60s, 70s & 80s.
Beauty over function.

Always seek to build ship engines that will run in the usual predictable and historically slightly cooler temperatures of the Gulf of Mexico,i.e 85 degrees. And obtain warranty for parts and service.

With the Royal Navy tradition of using Gibraltar as a port of call (I think there’s still a token RN squadron based there), you’d think that warmer waters would’ve been factored into the specs.
