Agreed. Not ready for prime time. And seriously, if GOP is in danger of losing Texas then things are much worse than we know. Much better to pick a VP from a swing state like FL, OH, WI, MI, PA.

No way Rick Perry will be Trump’s VP. This man said Trump was a “cancer” on conservatism. He also has no experience whatsoever in politics outside of Texas.

Exactly my thoughts! If Liawatha were to become the VP “choice” for the RATs, she would evicerate Perry because he’s not all that bright. Newt, OTOH would tear her to shreds besides being an excellent VP.

WHY would you bring out a failed candidate who was unable to get any traction with the public long before their were 17 candidates in the race???
Simply put: Perry's popularity correlated with that of a a cement cloud.
