Many Americans are counting the days until President Obama and his wife Michelle leave the White House, and the first lady may be among them.
Delivering the commencement speech for the City College in New York on Friday, she turned the graduation speech into a racial rallying cry.
She even managed to take shots at presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump along the way.
Michelle told the graduates that they ought to beware of people who want to build up walls to keep people out and that the story of America is the story of immigrants.
Its the story that I witness every single day, she said, when I wake up in a house that was built by slaves

Those look like slave owner boots.
There is no pleasing Michelle.
May explain a lot about Barack.
Wookie logic!
There is no pleasing Michelle.
She was at an Ivy League school and she wrote a paper complaining about it.
She is First Lady of the US and she complains about it.
She could be the Queen of the World and she would complain that all the diamonds, rubies and emeralds made her crown too heavy.
There is no pleasing Michelle. Poor little Barack.
Why does she dwell on something so painful for her and the Nation? It does not help; only makes her feel worse. I am sad for her.
Yes, but she is no slave and she loved moving in.
There are 2 Piles of Shiitt in the White House...
Hey Mooch,
Move your fat nasty behind out to Haiti.
OMG, LOL!!!! Red wine ALL OVER my iPad !!!!
Then GTFO you stupid, ungrateful *itch!
I am a victim too. /s
I do indeed sir. I was trying to see if anyone else knew it too. Obviously, you get it too. 😀
Now I know. It's been YOU holding me down. ;-)
Blithering imbecile.
Don’t worry about it Moochelle, a couple of hundred wake-ups and you’ll be out on your ear.
I can’t understand people so unhappy all of the time about everything.
A woman of substance would have used the history of the White House as an inspirational point in her speech to these young adults; a call to how far we have come. A woman of grace would have used the opportunity to give glory and thanks to God and the tens of thousands of Americans who gave their lives so that slavery was ended and a black couple is living in the White House.
There is no gratitude, no humility, no sense of wonder at the enormity of that fact. They must have truly hardened hearts.
I pity them.
If a person had respect for their ancestors, they would be proud of their accomplishments.
And therein lies the problem with most blacks today. Rather than being proud of their ancestors' endurance and accomplishments, they debase them as a source of grievance.
