Quoting the Pointer Sisters song, “I'm so excited!” Black pop icon Snoop Dogg's comments about the remake of the “Roots” TV series, in essence, is what I have been preaching to fellow blacks for decades (without his profanity).
Snoop said, “I'm sick of this s---. They are going to just keep beating that s--- into our heads about how they did us, huh?” Snoop spoke against new shows and movies such as “12 Years a Slave” which “keep showing the abuse we took hundreds and hundreds of years ago.”
Snoop said, “I ain't watching that s---, and I advise you motherf—ers as real n------ like myself; f--- them television shows. Snoop continued, “Let's create our own s--- based on today, how we live and how we inspire people today. Black is what's real. F--- that old s---.”
I say, “Right-on bro! (in my 1970s lingo)” Folks, for decades, I have been frustrated; trying to get through to fellow blacks that continuing to view themselves as victims and using slavery as an excuse for bad and trifling behavior only weakens them. America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to go for it. My reward has been to be trashed in black and liberal media; called a traitorous self-hating Uncle Tom.

I am an unrepentant channel-surfer. In my surfing I have seen that “Roots” is playing on at least three different channels! Let’s talk about ‘overkill’. ;-)
I’ve been watching and I really enjoy the series. I never saw the original. I guess I’m not looking too much into it, but just enjoying the story.

What I hear from my fellow Jews is they are open to listening to what DJT has to say. They don’t just shout REPUBLICAN!!! and dismiss him. I think Trump will get 35-40% of the Jewish vote versus Hillary.
There are editions of The Jewish Journal in cities/counties where lots of Jews live. From what I have seen the Los Angeles edition is different than editions you find on the East Coast. Editorially they are left wing and pathetic. On local Jewish news they are good.
These shows like Roots are nothing more than Hate Whitey propaganda.
It’s been few and far between that Christian gospel has obtained to the situation — part of the problem is that a lot of what was supposed to be gospel lights, instead excused race-based chattel slavery. (However, as counterexample, do not forget the Underground Railroad.)
This has left a lot of demons lurking around, demons that swore to carry out every curse that was uttered to them centuries ago.
The only true reparation is to bring the people within the scope of the blood of Christ, which was shed for all sin. For every soul turned from God, starting a worse slavery than anything that humanity could physically devise on earth. Because at least death ends the latter slavery. But the former slavery is of the spirit and leads to a literal hell, not a figurative one.
We need a new “Underground Railroad,” but this time in plain sight. Journeys from slavery to sin, to voluntary servitude of righteousness.
There once was a time, in the 1980s and early 1990s, when the right had the guts to say “get a job” to the perpetual victim crowd. Ever since Bush Junior, all the right can say is “but...but...we got minorities! But...we’re not racist!”
Trump realized that the far left is going to call you racist no matter what. The far left now calls white feminists racist. You can’t make this stuff up. I don’t care if you’re white, black, purple, or whatever. Get a job.

Yes it’s possible that Roots is more old fashioned than wrong in their superficial live-for-the-moment philosophy. Because it hasn’t really been put paid to. A temptation like that can’t just be “rapped” away. Let this superficial wave collapse and they will be singing the old “son of a slave” blues again.
Only God can truly deal with the situation. As a parallel, Jews have plenty of complaints about modern situations, but I’ve not heard a one complain about Pharoah’s Egypt.
Trump wants to bring jobs about too — the Obama regime has made it more and more difficult to create jobs.

History shows there are a lot of Jews who care more about making it big where they are, than keeping their ancestral and eventually future home in mind. Trump apparently will try to give them both. God bless him to do so, not the least because the fates of Christendom and of Judaica are closely bound.

The Roots show, and all the myriad “women” stuff, and all the “income inequality” stuff, has all been promoted in the extreme this year as part of the Progressive/Marxist’s general 2016 election season campaign. They have to keep their own political victims believing in their forever victimhood and the government plantation society.
