God also raises up warriors to fight for His cause
Duterte just called the Catholic bishops (The Philippines is a predominantly Catholic nation) .. sons of whores because of their (Catholic religious) milking the people
God just might be sanctioning that

Yes, the link finally worked.
I think he just put them on notice. I believe he was pretty good at messing with corruption in Davao City, so let's see what he does with corruption at the national level. I know he is NOT into corruption. He doesn't like it much. Let's see if he kicks rears and takes names like he did in Davao.

I think Duterte is an interesting man with probably a righteous viewpoint on a lot of governmental things ... even though some FReepers don't "get" the extent of the corruption in the Philippines
I sent the link to your asawa's FB page in the event you couldn't open
He actually lays out a mature first round of stipulations for limited government
I still like him, even though I've read (no confirmation) that he leans communist
He may be more libertarian than communist from what I see

Usually when someone runs as an “anti-corruption” candidate, it means they want to be the one doing the corrupting.

Maybe as a de rigueur (sp?) American politician, but there is a global upheaval occuring as we speak .... pretty much like the wave of blue jeans, reefer and beads during the 60's .... the planet is unified ... or at least GETTING there ... behind Islamist terrorism/religion/politic
In the 60's it was US involvement in Viet Nam ... in the mid twenties, it is the attack of Islam on the cultured world
Different politicians are coming to bat .... nothing is the same
Actually ... I'm kind'a 'mazed at some FReeper's responses
Duterte AND Trump both say and do things we've been wishing and hoping someone would say and do ....and now that we have one or two .... we're freaked out by it
Interesting juxtapositioning

Maybe some need to live in Davao City awhile, so they can see what is REALLY going on. Gee Knarfster, you wouldn't have anyone in mind would you? 😆
I heard that back in the 80s, Davao City was VERY unsafe. Duterte, and others like him, came on the scene, and cleaned it up. Now, it is the safest city in the country. Does that mean everywhere is like that? No. I still do not venture west of CDO City. I avoid Zamboanga, North/South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and the entire Sulu Archipelago. Remember, the 2009 Magiundanao massacre and the 2015 Mamasapano massacre, both happened in South Cotabato. Stay away from there, but I am not sure it is worse than Chicago. Maybe about the same. Lots of Muzzies out west. 👎😖😩

I hear ya ... but at least in Chicago, it's easier to get a hold of a gun to protect yourself
I just like the meeting Duterte had with his cabinet

I sent the link to your asawa's FB page in the event you couldn't openI opened it. My "asawa" just made me a monster double cheeseburger. Mmmm, so I am taking her and MIL to Villa Mercedes tomorrow. It should be fun. Check out my profile page, for pics, but if you ever had a stereotype of what a south sea island paradise would look like, this fits it perfectly. 😊😆😃😎😀

I know you mean well but your preaching and pretending to know what is right by god on post after post, is really getting old.
Live your life the way you want. Don't pretend to speak for god on how everyone else should conduct their lives...it's none of you business.

Our maid told me this morning, that Duterte will be at Crocodile Park, in Davao City, all day today. It would be nice to go, but most of Davao City will be there too, so it won’t work. Go Duterte, go Trump.
