Hm...so he had no responsibility in this? Yeah...right. Unless she stole the car. I am guessing that the privileged Representative thought it would be a great advantage to his daughter to use the car with these plates, so was fully involved in the the foible. Nice going, Elijah - and way to blame your daughter for your poor judgement.

Why do Congressmen and Senators receive special privileges? They are supposed to be servants of the people, not elite lords over the people.
Every time I go to the local airport I am outraged by the marked reserved parking spaces at the entrance. While we common citizens are required to park in remote lots and garages, there are marked parking spaces curbside at the terminal for the following privileged overlords - 2 US Congressmen, 1 US Senator, the Director of the Airport Authority (a government bureaucrat who oversees the airport). Why shouldn’t these government officials be parking their cars with the rest of us? Why should the Congressmen and Senator have special license plate in the home state and the District? Why should they be the nobility the founding fathers fought to escape?

Are there multiple Congressional plates for family members?
Why would that be if there is only one family member who is a member of Congress?
And why am I asking, but who pays for this plate?
