Local news reporting a Thunderbird crashed and the pilot safely ejected.
My son graduated from the Air Force Academy yesterday. While watching the air show the plane at times appeared to be flying a little erratic.
You should be very proud.
Endure.
Darn iPhones.
“Endure.
Darn iPhones. “
This is NOT a criticsm and I don’t have, and will never have,an iPhone.
What would an iPhone have to do with the error?
.
It is actually very useful. You said you don't have one so telling you this is akin to telling a somebody about the color yellow who never saw one.
I don't worship this technology, and I won't. But like anything else it has faults and limitations. If you want to argue, let me examine your vehicles or your home. I could find lots wrong.

For heaven’s sake,I wasn’t arguing,I just didn’t understand,as I explained in my post.
You answered me in your first sentence-—I did not know it involved VERBAL dictation. Now I do.
Good lord !

I’d like to give a nice pat on the butt to the legion of Freepers who supported sequestration and furloughs because anything that impacts govt. jobs is a good thing (to them). You got exactly what you wanted, how does it feel?
That would require ground crew to miss a major evolution and the pilot to never look at his fuel state before takeoff. Not saying it’s impossible, guess we’ll have to wait for the accident board report.

Received by email, today.
Just got some inside poop on the recent Thunderbird crash near the AF Academy. This from a connected former AF pilot in Hurricane.
Not verified, but will it ever be?
..
Opposing Solo (#6) ejected due to flameout on landing.
Below is from an AF friend a rumor or leak, still sad if true.
Following their flyover at the AF Academy, the 6 ship Thunderbird formation remained in flight over the local area awaiting a join-up photo-op with AF#1 due to take off after graduation ceremonies ended. But Obama took his sweet time on the way back to Pete Field. Whoever was running this “photo op” ordered the flight to continue to “hold” causing them to exceed their bingo fuel limits.

Not sure how much to make of this, unverified. Lack of post crash fire makes fairly credible.
Subj: Thunderbird crash
He ran out of gas.
They were holding waiting for POTUS. The whole team was bingo.
Boss and pilot fired.
Done for the season.
