Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aides tried to use personal hand-held electronic devices inside areas used to store classified information, according to the just-released State Department inspector general report.
The Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the State Departments security arm, told the inspector general that in March 2009 Mrs. Clinton rejected an offer from security officials to provide her with a secure government smartphone. DS was informed that Secretary Clintons staff had been asking to use BlackBerry devices inside classified areas, said the report, released late last month.
Another portion of the inspector generals report states that Mrs. Clinton sought in late January 2009 to bring her BlackBerry into a secure area. Instead, State Department officials offered to set up a computer near her office desk to check emails, although the report says the stand-alone computer was never installed.
Classified areas are called SCIFs, for sensitive compartment information facilities, and are used by officials with security clearances to read secret or top-secret intelligence and other classified information. Security rules prohibit bringing in electronic devices like smartphones that could be used to photograph or copy secret documents or to take notes.
The facilities also are protected against external eavesdropping, and those entering are required to leave all phones and other hand-held electronic devices outside.
The report does not say whether Mrs. Clinton or her aides violated the ban on using smartphones inside the SCIFs. However, if she or her aides improperly used their BlackBerrys inside the SCIF, it could explain how classified information ended up on Mrs. Clintons private email server.

Do they know who she is?
Do they know who she is?
Gee, I bet they didn’t work very well in there.
What difference, at this point, does it make?
...somebody refresh my fading memory...when did Sandy Burger do his deeds?
How did they get their mobile devices into a SKIF? I’m sure there are signs everywhere warning that this is a felony.
Oops, SCIF.
‘Hillary continues to be an actual threat to national security.
She has proved to the American people repeatedly that she is dangerous, and thinks nothing of it.
She was warned about her blackberry, but kept on using it, and when you put government documents on something like a computer or phone, it becomes the property of the government...and it can’t be erased either...everything we do on our cell phones and computers are tracked, the information is floating around out there and it will be found...
Does Hillary get secret service protection in jail???????
On July 19, 2004, it was revealed that the U.S. Department of Justice was investigating Berger for unauthorized removal of classified documents in October 2003 from a National Archives reading room prior to testifying before the 9/11 Commission. The documents were five classified copies of a single report commissioned from Richard Clarke covering internal assessments of the Clinton Administration’s handling of the unsuccessful 2000 millennium attack plots. An associate of Berger said Berger took one copy in September 2003 and four copies in October 2003, allegedly by stuffing the documents into his socks and pants.[19][20] Berger subsequently lied to investigators when questioned about the removal of the documents.[21]
In April 2005, Berger pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material from the National Archives in Washington.[22]
Berger was fined $50,000,[23] sentenced to serve two years of probation and 100 hours of community service, and stripped of his security clearance for 3 years.[21][24] The Justice Department initially said Berger stole only copies of classified documents and not originals,[25] but the House Government Reform Committee later revealed that an unsupervised Berger had been given access to classified files of original, uncopied, uninventoried documents on terrorism. During the House Government Reform Committee hearings, Nancy Kegan Smith who was the director of the presidential documents staff at the National Archives and Records Administration acknowledged that she had granted Berger access to original materials in her office.[26]

Look, hackers are going to hack their way in -- what difference does it make The question is, how much would they pay to save themselves the time? Taking the money always worked for Bill when he had secrets rich foreigners wanted, and we still left the White House flat broke. Who knows where it goes?
They were running cell phones in SCIFs. If you’ve ever worked in one, and I have, that’s mind-boggling. I’ve seen military officers end their careers for less than that.
It never occurred to me that Hillary and her minions would go as far as to use personal electronic devices in a SCIF. I know today’s liberal democrats are among the most evil people ever to set foot on earth, but I still consistently underestimate them.
Has anyone considered the possibility that perhaps Mrs. Bill actually was/is a SPY? working for whoever ponied up the biggest addition to her bank account? The Sauds, maybe?
Wait for the “everyone takes one inside” excuse.
Anyway, photographing documents could’ve been the way Huma bridged the classified - unclassified gap. The FBI will have that, if so.
Thanks
The explanation is she is a criminal.
