A Pennsylvania House candidate who lost the Republican primary has been presented with the unexpected possibility that he might compete in the general election as a Democrat.
An early tally of write-in votes on Tuesday put tea party-backed conservative Art Halvorson slightly ahead of Democrat Adam Sedlock in the Democratic primary...

Be great IMHO if the Dems ran Tea Party candidates against ALL the R Leadership.

Schuster (yes, a RINO albeit influential) came out for Trump after 5,000 Ds in his district changed their voting registration to R in order to vote for The Donald. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Trump dip his toe into this fight in support of Schuster.
We had a similar situation in our State Senate district in that the RAT party opted not to put anyone on the ballot against the GOP incumbent. A friend of mine, good NRA guy, plus others got talked into handing out leaflets near the polling place telling Democrat voters how to write her in. Enough of them did that she will be running on both party lines. I guess it never occurred to the Democrats to even look at the GOP sample ballot and see she was on the other team.
Schuster is a nepotist given Bud Schuster got all sorts of goodies delivered to the way greater Johnston area. Especially a little used airport. Pork barrel log rolling at its best.
DINO.
I would. Schuster is a shoo-in. He is flyover PA’s version of Robert Byrd Jr., king of pork, 2nd generation. Schuster is more likely to attend a rally for Trump to boost his chances here.
Shuster won the primary -against this Halvorson- by less than 2%. He would probably appreciate all the help he can get. Things do change, sometimes (I don’t know about this situation).
Trump would have to campaign for Shuster to get the full cooperation of the PAGOP GOTV effort- if Shuster wants him.
Shame.
Shuster is an establishment hack that needs to be removed from office. If we don’t remove all the multi-national politicians soon, they will give away our country.
So basically the choice is between a Republican and a Tea Party. It’s all good.
