While the State Departments own internal probe found former Secretary Hillary Clinton violated federal recordkeeping laws, its not the first time she and her top aides shielded her e-mail from public disclosure while serving in a government position.
As first lady, Hillary was embroiled in another scheme to bury sensitive White House e-mails, known internally as Project X.
In 1999, as investigators looked into Whitewater, Travelgate, Filegate and other scandals involving the then-first lady, it was discovered that more than 1 million subpoenaed e-mails were mysteriously lost due to a glitch in a West Wing computer server.
The massive hole in White House archives covered a critical two-year period 1996 to 1998 when Republicans and special prosecutor Ken Starr were subpoenaing White House e-mails.
Despite separate congressional investigations and a federal lawsuit over Project X, high-level e-mails dealing with several scandals were never turned over. And the full scope of Bill and Hillary Clintons culpability in the parade of scandals was never known.
To those well-versed in Clinton shenanigans, this all sounds distressingly familiar.

It’s not just emails that the Clinton Crime Family has been putting into the ground.
Who is that guy?
A glitch? Is that like wiping it? With a cloth?
Any word ending in -itch is applicable to the Beast.
The whole time I’ve been surprised this has not been talked about till now... I knew about all this.
I think the Dems and the media are tired of defending the Clintons. They know another Clinton presidency will be chaotic like the first one and far worse since Hillary has none of Bill’s political skills. Unfortunately for the Dems the Clintons are the houseguests who are not only bad but will never leave. I was still a Democrat in 1992 and I ended up voting for Poppy Bush. I thought then as I do now that the Clintons would be nothing but a pile of trouble for the Democratic Party. They’re finding out that fact this election season, aren’t they?
She still hasn’t accounted for the files she took from Foster’s office while he was stiff and cold at Ft. Marcy Park.
Didn’t she also fail to produce documents relating to her failed Hillarycare activities?
The media has to ask themselves...after covering fir anither Clinton presidency, would they have a shred of credibility left.
....and FBI FILES
She is a dirtbag.
Through and through.
Ira Magaziner, Hillarycare, Sunshine Law violations. Did anyone actually get in real trouble for that?
It’s how they routinely do business.
Bodies, emails.....”what difference does it make?” s/
Let us not forget about the 900 FBI Files. That woman is so vile she should never set foot inside the White House ever again along with Bill. Also remember Hillary lies went all the way back with the Watergate Committee where she was fired for lying. She has a long past with this kind of behavior.
Looks like Justice is catching up to her and Bubba.
“......it was discovered that more than 1 million subpoenaed e-mails were mysteriously lost due to a glitch in a West Wing computer server”...........
It worked once before so why not try it again. She skated free then and I expect she will skate free once again. the bitch belongs in jail and in chains for the rest of her days.
From Wikipedia:December 1996 - Several days after John M. Deutch left the position of Director of Central Intelligence, classified information was found on an unclassified computer at his home. Further investigation showed that he knowingly processed classified information regarding covert actions, Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information and the National Reconnaissance Program on unclassified computers connected to the Internet at his homes and office. In 1999, Attorney General Janet Reno declined to prosecute him.
