I understand all this. I have read however, the illegal had an accidental round fired which bounced (richocehd) off a metal bridge railing or something hit a brick something or other and hit her. Anybody know anything? Not sticking up for the jizbag, he should not have been here, but was it MURDER or accidental?

Yes, I lived in SF at the time and that was pretty much the report after the investigation, a ricochet and a real tragedy but none-the-less I think the City should be held liable for letting the guy loose.

He was a felon in possession of a firearm, a crime. While committing that crime, he caused the death of another person. In some jurisdictions that would make it murder. I don’t know if California does it that way.

If the ILLEGAL wasn’t there, she would still be alive (whether they can it accidental or not).
