So what’s the angle being worked here?
Why all of a sudden is there media scrutiny? They have been covering for her for YEARS, but now they want to get serious?
This is far from "scrutiny". This is their effort to downplay the whole thing. She "misstated the facts". She was "confused". "She didn't know how to use a computer". Etc.
The media knows damn well she traded in national security so she could do her four year crime spree without scrutiny. They know she's lying every step of the way. They know Obama is lying about it. They know the whole administration is totally corrupt.
The media can't keep this bottled up any longer, so the next approach is to make it appear as if she simply goofed up a little on minor things like the handling of her emails.
After all, America has the worst record of any country in the world when it comes to treating women... and Hillary is the only one who can fix that!
They want her to get away with her crimes with just a "strongly worded letter" and this is one of them, probably the only one from the AP.
It’s a holiday weekend. Apparently the media can spare a little break from their decades-old Clinton love fest.
We’ll see if it really leads to a sustained, consistent criticism of the Queen.
I think they realize the IG report is a turning point, and they can no longer ignore the issue.
Further, the report provides a raft of evidence against Clinton.
