One police horse was knocked over when protesters tried to story the convention center.
This was much worse than what was reported in the media.
Arrest them and double their time for injury to a horse.
The horse is fine. The protesters still need to be held accountable for their actions.
What?
You were all thinking it!
Judging from their Mexican flags, thse are fraudulently documented foreigners.
Jail them and deport them as rapidly as possible.
Oh, yeah, that will have to wait until we have an American President.
Perforate them and then allow them to bleed out.
The point I was making is that this was not widely reported. The riot was much worse than what was reported.
A protestor attacking violently enough to knock a police horse down should have had his head turned into pink mist at such action.
They had to put the horse down very sad
Horse lives matter
Yes. Sorry, didn't intend to indicate it wasn't. It's just that I've read several things on the horse being injured and euthanized, and wanted to get it out there that it wasn't.
The riots were bad, very bad. Several injuries, several death threats (people basically saying they'll cut throats of attendees), kids threatened, a man in a wheel-chair assaulted and battered, Hispanics who were attending were called all kinds of things and threatened.
The police basically did nothing. It was all over the local talkers the last few days (I'm in the Albuquerque area).
No, they didn't.
OK.
I’m not a Twitterer so I guess I miss a lot of the insta-rumor mill. I did not hear about any of this on more mainstream sources.
I stand corrected I saw it after i posted... going on old news
I saw this incident on TV,
Thankfully the Horse and Rider were very well trained and were able to recover themselves. Great Horse! Great Rider! Rider was never unseated!
I was hoping to see a Full Cavalry Charge into the protesters.
A horse’s hoof to the skull, of a rioter, would be great TV.
I'm not a twitterer either, just live in the area, and it spread like wildfire here on Facebook (I don't have an account, but my wife does).
I know it was out there on Wednesday, as I saw a post here on FR about it, but there was no substance, the link went nowhere, and I couldn't find the actual story.
They're still talking about the riots here. The protest planners are now claiming it was a bunch of "other" people who showed up and ruined their "peaceful" protest.
According to Twitter yesterday, Splicer, the name of the horse is fine..the other officer that was riding him is fine...they are looking at video tapes to find the thugs and among others, there are about 30 they said they want to arrest...
The Horse is a Police Office also, so charges will be filed against these thugs for both offenses...
No worries. There is a lady here who is calling out all the groups who staged this (at least the ones whose names are on the professionally-made signs).
They're all commie groups tied to the NM Dem party and a particular church in Albuquerque helped them out a lot. Can't recall the particulars at the moment, but she's all over the news stories and local radio about it.
They see their freebies going down the drain. I remember helping my Mom at the food bank many years ago and we gave away government-supplied cheese, a can of dried beans, canned veggies, dried milk. If they want to illegally cross the border, have anchor babies and mooch, let them live on that. The country is broke. I’m trying to keep my own situation above water. Why should I be responsible for horse killers.
