Excellent article.
I haven’t followed this case closely but it seems that this guy might have been the “star” defendant, meant to be the first domino to fall. It’ll be interesting,to me at least,to see what might happen with the others.Charges dropped perhaps? Allowed to plead guilty to minor charges perhaps? I don’t know...I sure ain’t no lawyer.Or politicians.Or “community organizer”.
Ooops...second defendant.
Notice the “flat bureaucratic forehead” .... too many DUH, I knew thats!!!!
You’ll know this is over when CVS restocks their pharmacies’ drug lockers in Baltimore, but not until then.
I'm getting lootin' boots on so I can get some free toilet paper & Cheetos from the nearest store. Hitting Pottery Barn next. #FreddieGray
A fine young man for sure. The kind of guy you hope your daughter will bring home for dinner.
Freddie’s dead.
That’s what I said...
Let the man rap a plan; ‘said he’d send him home.
But his hope was a rope, and he should have known.
Everybody’s misused him; ripped him off and abused him.
Another junkie playin’; pushin’ dope for the man.
A terrible blow, but that’s how it go...
Freddie’s on the corner now... if you wanna be a junkie, wow...
Remember, Freddie’s dead...
We’re all built up with progress,
but sometimes I must confess,
we can deal with rockets and dreams,
but reality... what does it mean? Ain’t nothing said.
‘cause Freddie’s dead.
Hey, hey...
Love, love...
Hey, hey...
Hee! yeah...
Huh huh...
Love, love...
Freddie’s dead
All I want is some piece of mind
with a little love I’m trying to find
this could be such a beautiful world
with a wonderful girl
a woman child
don’t want to be like Freddie now
cause Freddie’s dead
Everybody’s misused him; ripped him off and abused him.
Another junkie playin’; pushin’ dope for the man.
Freddie’s on the corner now... if you wanna be a junkie, wow...
Remember, Freddie’s dead...
hey hey hey ha.
Freddie’s dead
What else will you have for dinner besides Mr.Grey?
But in this case it backfired. The overcharging was so egregious and offensive it tainted the lesser charges.
I have trouble believing a black vehicle driver who was focused on driving (and black) being found guilty. He was even less potentially culpable than the others being tried.
HowTF was this guy even out of jail? I can see getting off light for a first offense, but these are serious multiple felonies...
From this: Col. Mustard did it in the library with the iron pipe.
To this: Officer Goodson did it in the paddy wagon with the accelerator pedal.
Insane.
Has Caesar Goodson been tried yet?
He seems to be the best bet for any kind of conviction.
He was the driver of the van.
He's a known anti-white, anti-republican racist black man.
Why not go for the slam dunk FIRST?
Or does convicting the black liberal cop not look so hot, politically?
He was just getting his life back on track. I heard he was enrolling college.
Porter = Hung Jury (word is, all but one voted to acquit)
Nero = Not Guilty
Goodson = June 6th trial date
A driver of any color, one would think, might be less culpable in a case like this. However, being the second one prosecuted very possibly meant that prosecutors believed they had a better chance of nailing him...setting the others up for a later time.
There is so much politics involved, I didn't know what to think.
If Goodson, the black driver is somehow convicted, what will happen?
If they throw him under the bus with a conviction, will that "satisfy" the mob?
Or will the professional agitators STILL riot, because he's a cop?
