Trump has explained to them that he’ll keep the gravy train going. I think your expectations of "being bitterly disappointed by Trump as President" will come to fruition. You seem to expect him to be every bit as bad as Obama or Hillary (the kind of thinking that gave us 8 years of Obama) and i predict that his successes will grate at you as much as any sense of betrayal you try to work up.
Be prepared to be bitterly disappointed while the rest of us cheer him on.
