Last week an openly gay man, Eric Fanning, became secretary of the Army. Read that sentence again and contemplate what it reveals about how much and how quickly American society has changed. Only five years ago, openly gay people were barred from serving in its armed forces. During Mr. Fannings lengthy confirmation process, his sexual orientation was simply not an issue. That is a tribute to those who fought so hard to repeal the ban, and a measure of the nations at times uncertain, but as yet unfailing, march toward equality.

Nope. Calling a RANGER a c**ks**ker is still not a statement of love.
Obama glories queers......says it all.....because HE IS QUEER and his wife is a TRANNY!
America will NEVER be a great or good country again UNLESS we turn back to Jesus, and I sure don’t see that happening....we are too far gone.
Maybe we’ll finally see something that I figured out a long time ago. An all gay combat unit makes a great deal of sense. First of all; gay people don’t breed very much so it isn’t like casualties would result in losses to the next generation. Second; who would you fight harder for? Your wife or your squad mate? Third; in a front line, no man’s land scenario the opposing force would know exactly who they were up against. If the opposing force wins the fight then their buddies would say “Big deal, you beat a bunch of pansies”. If they lost then their buddies would say “Damn, you got beat by bunch of pansies. If they got captured they know exactly what they’re in for as prisoners so they would probably refuse to fight at all.
Blacks get most of the "credit." Voting in a block of 96% for this evil gives them that mantel.
That's what Joan Rivers said right before...
“Yes I agree...a Gay man is in command of the Army. I knew that the minute I saw him throw a baseball.”
Very droll...and very true.
The most accurate post of the thread. Thank you.
American society has not changed...they are about to learn that lesson.
I would not lay down my life to protect things like gay marriage or abortion on demand, or the new bathroom policies. And the government is becoming more hostile to Christians.
America is dying and I would not fight to keep the corpse alive.
There are Churches that are now flying the Christian flag over the American flag, and pastors are counseling young Christian men that joining the military is really not an option because of what the government is doing.
Christ himself said don't throw your pearls before swine.
I would also encourage my son not to enter the military at this time. Too much is going on right now with All Branches. My son got out because of the changes he saw and had to deal with. I also know an 18 yo that just got sworn into the Navy. He is a 18 yo Hispanic that really has no choices in order to better his life. He will go in for 4 years hoping to see the world. I pray he knows what he is doing. His mother was not happy, but she supported his choice. For some, this is the only way out of the ghetto.
A message needs to be sent and the only way that message can be sent is to start by saying "no" to the government. Notice I say "the" government and not "our" government.
Affirmative Action hire under title 69

I guess that means it's payback time, right?
That is happening a lot among my own acquaintances-- in most instances they are young men who enlisted before 2008 and intended to make the military their career. The majority of those are/were in the Army and they have become very disillusioned with the system. Of the ones who haven't already left, I know of two soldiers who will definitely be leaving the Army before the end of this year.
For all these cases, Donald Trump is too late, if not too little. Thank Obama and his Boehner/Ryan/McConnell support staff.

Well stated.
The NEW YORK TIMES is a faggot newspaper.

Strange what some people think equality is.
March toward “equality”? - More like march toward Sodom &
Gomorrah.
