Pro-Iran Sadr Shiite agitators on a power grab. The guy’s a tyrant-wannabe and a semi-literate idiot. Imo this situation is a Good Thing. If/when the government-in-hiding decides they have to have more US support to put them down they will need to re-write and authorize US support agreements. Not sure this administration will approve that but ultimately the Apaches will be unleashed and Sadr’s fools will die just as they did in Najaf and Karbala in ‘04.
