Target needs to go the way of Montgomery Ward.
Pervs in the bathroom.
Stabbers running amok
no thank you.

Give Target a break; they need the money.
There's a Target 5 minutes from me. I didn't sign the petition, but I haven't shopped there since the bathroom edict. No Wal-Mart or other similar stores nearby, but I can easily get items I bought at Target at other stores. My niece recently had a baby. I was going to get her a Target gift card, but got her a Wal-Mart one instead.
Maybe the young girl should sue Target and then the hero her can split it.
Sorry in advance for my poor HTML, typing from my phone.
The article is horribly written. The background to this is that the stabber had already stabbed someone several blocks away from the Target store. That earlier vic and his friends (one of whom is the hero) pursued the stabber on foot and chased him INTO the Target store, where the stabber then grabbed a hostage (the girl from Chattanooga) and started stabbing her.
Now, kudos to the Vic and his posse for bringing this nutter to justice, but Target claims that it was basically they posse’s vigilante style behavior that precipitated the whole thing. The better-written story is here:

And the boycott should continue until the company goes out of business even if they change their policy.
Target should be made as an example otherwise it will happen again.
Court documents say the company claims Turner chased Walls with a baseball bat into the entrance of the store, creating more danger to those inside.
I found more detailed stories here:

As is usually the case, it is not so cut and dry as the original post makes it sound. Turner and Walls had a confrontation outside. Walls ended up inside. Turner followed inside with a baseball bat. Target says Turner chased Wall inside with the baseball bat. That is the part of the story that seems like we don’t really know the truth yet.
Target agrees that Walls is responsible for the girls injuries. But Target is saying that it was not their lack of security that caused this incident, but rather that it was the actions of Turner and his friends that started the chain of events that led to the incident.
Walls is apparently a homeless crazy person and Turner and his friends may be a bunch of thugs. We really don’t know yet.
Do you suppose they are also suing the stabber/criminal? If not, why not? Seems like he would have created a great deal more risk and harm for the store and its customers.

It still sounds pretty cut and dried to me in that Target should not sue Turner. That part doesn't confuse me at all.
Over the cliff they go...
Why? Let them die a slow death, they deserve it.
I don’t get this either.
Another thread here says the good guy chased the perp INTO the store.
What is the real story???
Although this ahh person spends more time at Walmart, if he finds his way to Target, THEIR policy allows him into the bathroom with YOUR daughter. At least, so far as I know, Wally World hasn't caved but it's still early!
