A shocking editorial in the Charlotte Observer counseled young girls to get over the "discomfort" they feel at the sight of male genitalia when transgender facilities are allowed in North Carolina. The newspaper assumes the law will eventually be repealed or declared illegal. While that may or may not happen any time soon, it is the justification for this position used by the Observer that reveals the true nature of this battle of the bathroom. Progressives used to love to taunt conservatives by telling them to “stay out of our bedrooms” when it came to opposing gay rights and the like - now it’s time to turn the tables and insist that loony libs “stay out of our bathrooms”.....
I’m with you. Just remembering myself at that age and trying to imagine how I would feel if school authorities tried to force me to shower with a male enrages me. If I was so unfortunate as to have a parent that co-signed and agreed to this enforcement, I’d run away from home.

I reviewed the episode online and she actually states, "to show the men of Europe that they can't protect their women." Hard to know exactly what she means. It seems to me she is saying "you couldn't protect your women even if you tried!" But I hear you too. I want you to watch it for yourself. Very short:

I read a lot of them earlier this morning. If you missed reading the article when comments weren't disabled, y'all missed a real treat. The editors were getting hammered, even by self-identifying liberal democrats and socialists!

Good idea but you need to go hang out in the women’s restroom at the Charlotte Observer’s newsroom. Put on a little lipstick so they’ll know you felt like a woman that day, but don’t change a thing regarding your men’s clothing. Be sure you’re hanging out over the sink since there aren’t any urinals and give everyone a good flash.
