>Hes dead. His family mourns him. What practical purpose to such a story?
Gives another entry for those of us whom keep a ‘Who’s grave to piss upon’ bucket-list.

Jim Bennett also said as a Mormon, his father "recognized the parallel between the Mormon experience and the Muslim experience," ...Both cults headed by charlatans who invented religions that enabled men to institutionalize getting lots of sex with multiple oppressed women and children.

Did you guys see this ? Words cannot describe this derangement. I was thinking this is another example of a career pol losing their mind after being cast out of office, but he may have been this sick in the head while in office. Frightening stuff. May God have mercy on his soul.

I didn't expect a Utah Senator. I knew that RINO was the default position (see O. Hatch), but figured a Utah RINO is better than a northeast "conseravtive" official.
Sme opine that it is the Mormon thing, I have no idea. This makes NO sense.

That would explain a lot if the enthusiasm for a failed candidate I will not name.

How many others like him are still in office?
Sad that he passed away just the same.

Every officeholder that grovels before Satan’s death cult should be removed from power swiftly and mercilessly.

and as Christians we’re not to be footstools for other religions. Jesus said turn the other cheek, he didn’t say a word about bowing down and keep taking it.

“and as Christians were not to be footstools for other religions.”
I’m not saying we should be, in the least. What I’m saying is that Christianity is a great differentiation from the Old Testament approach of an eye for an eye. It teaches trying to rise above hatred, and breaking the cycle of vengeance.
That said, we have a duty to protect innocence and stop evil, and we have no obligation to let those who hate us hurt us. My comments are being misinterpreted, but that’s OK, and I probably wasn’t very clear.

I agree. Whatever he was like politically in life, he was facing death, and had to have been sincere in his belief or he wouldnt have spent his last moments doing this. Most of us in this nation want to believe in people, and from a Christian heritage perspective truly believe in turning the other cheek and not being judgmental. That said, this situation is more complex IMHO because we also have an obligation to protect innocence, and to stop groups of people from harming others. That MSN would see fit to use this mans death and his actions before death to attack a political candidate is unethical journalism, and disgusting. We Christians are to 'test the fruit'... I have NO clue how you would find 'turn the other cheek' even relevant. We are to turn the other cheek IF we as Christians specifically cause the offense. Judgment to me means that none has the power and authority to condemn any to 'hell'. Bennet appears to have been out of his ever living Christian mind. God will judge NOT Bennet, you or I.

Sadder still that his priorities were so screwed up. I’ll just say “prayers for his family” and leave it there.

Jesus himself judged,,,many, many times.
I will walk away from a fight or an argument...but you poke me hard...I will poke back.
