The top ranks of the Republican Party may be coalescing around Donald Trump, but grass-roots conservative activists are still trying to find a way to stop him at the party's convention in July.
Angered by Trump's shifting views on taxes, the minimum wage, national security and how little he discusses social issues, conservatives across the country are studying the party rule book for last-ditch moves they could make when the convention begins in Cleveland.

“Dont kid yourself: Obtaining & Sponsoring Delegates is the primary objective of OPP (Katie Packer- Rickards Family- Chicago Cubs owner) for Cruz.”
I was at a recent AZ LD meeting and a Cruz supporting delegate was begging for money to get to the convention. He was complaining about how expensive it was. He was pretty much shunned buy most of the group.
His reasoning was that he was legally required to vote for Trump but he was mainly going to protect the platform from changes by liberal delegates.
Then you should stop playing this there is a chance that Trump won’t be the nominee. He is the only Republican still actively in the race and will reach and pass 1237 before the convention. Only someone who is hoping that Trump isn’t the nominee is delving into this their is a chance that Trump won’t be the nominee.
Arizona has two reps to the rules committee. One was a trump person the other a Cruz. We are all TRUMP delegates now. It’s NOT going to happen. Believe me.
Suz, I know that guy. He just wants to go to the convention. Everyone wants to be at convention because it is going to be AWESOME. I know Cruz people and they were very disappointed. But they are going to vote for Trump and there is nothing that is going to stop them. If you go out on your own and vote for someone else on first ballot (the only ballot I believe), you will be escorted off the floor and not allowed back in. AZ delegates are bound to Trump on first ballot no matter what. I will vote for Trump on every ballot if need be, but it won’t need be.
