Oakland has been a blight on the Bay Area for many decades. The name is synonymous with crime. If you have to do business there, you go in, do it, and get out. As soon as you park, your vehicle is scoped out by thieves. Violent criminals lurk around every corner. Don't ever go there at night. People milling about, up to no good. A creepy dangerous city on paradoxically some of the choicest real estate in California.
